Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about the Green Carpet Referral Club program, eligibility requirements, and how to maximize your referral bonuses when bringing OEM partners to Four Inc.

1. Who can refer?

 All full-time or part-time employee, intern or contractor with Four Inc. (Excluding Corporate Sales, VP’s and above - to avoid conflicts). 

2. What counts as a referral?

  • A warm introduction to a decision-maker or influencer at a net-new OEM.
  • The OEM must not currently be under contract or in late-stage negotiations with Corporate Sales.
  • Introduction must materially advance the conversation and lead to an executed agreement.

3. What is the referral process?

  1. Submission - Employee completes a short “OEM Referral Form”. Link Above
  2. Qualification - Corporate Sales reviews the submission, ensures the OEM is net-new.
  3. Introduction - Employee provides a warm email intro or sets up an initial conversation with Corporate Sales.
  4. Evaluation - Corporate Sales manages the OEM through the qualification & potential signing process.
  5. Signed Agreement - Once the OEM signs an agreement, Corporate Sales notifies Four Inc referrer, HR & Finance.
  6. Bonus Payment - Employee receives their bonus after 2 full months of OEM being officially partnered post contract execution. Employee must be an active employee in good standing at the time of payout to be eligible.

4. What are the rules & guardrails?

  • One payout per OEM; if multiple employees refer the same OEM, the payout goes to the first validated referral.
  • Only warm introductions count—simply submitting a company name is not eligible.
  • Referring employee must still be employed at time of payout.
  • Tier assignments are final and based on internal value scoring done by Corporate Sales & Leadership.
  • This program is not retroactive. This will be for 2026 until further notice
  • Corporate Sales, VP and above leadership team is excluded from payouts.

5. What if I know someone at an OEM but they're not the decision-maker—does that count?

Yes. You can always submit the referral, and Corporate Sales will take a look to qualify whether or not to have the initial discussion. 

6. How do I know if an OEM is already in conversations or “late-stage negotiations” with Corporate Sales?

Once you submit the form, Corporate Sales will follow up to let you know if the OEM is already in conversations with Four. 

7. Can contractors or interns participate?

Yes. 

8. Is the bonus taxed? (and how much will actually show up in my paycheck?)

Yes, it is taxed, but we will Gross up for taxes, so you will net the amount in the table. 

9. What if the OEM is already loosely known to Four Inc., but I’m the one who provides the true entry point—does that count?

Yes – Corporate Sales will qualify how engaged they are with OEM and inform the employee accordingly. 

10. Will this program run indefinitely, or is it only for FY26?

The program is in place until further notice.

11. Is there a cap on how many bonuses I can earn?

No.
